Today.

*Zack was late for school and locked out
*Zack didn't turn in his homework (which took 2 hours to do)
*Zack's teacher tried to tell me in a nice way that he had been naughty in class
*I have PMS
*I stepped on a hornet and got stung, it felt like a pitchfork in my foot
*My printer won't function correctly
*My mom brought me a chocolate donut - 20 grams of fat and 450 calories (she told me after I had consumed it)
*I couln't bear to eat lunch (see donut)
*I have really ugly hair today thanks to some new product I bought (good thing I bought 3 bottles!)
*I am at work for the next 8 hours

Despite my bad attitude today, I recognize my many blessings and the great life I have. I wouldn't trade if for any one elses!

Deidra! Of course I remember you! You were one of the few we felt completely comfortable with. When Mercydez was with you, we could actually get some sleep! You are a fantastic nurse and you were always so great! I'm so glad you posted a comment on our blog! I'm going to add you to my bloggin' buddies too. I hope today is a better day for you. :)And yeah, stepping on a wasp is no fun. Ouch.
Your friend,
Ashley Haws
PS Mercy says hello! :)

YIKES!!! Atleast your husband didn't sleep through the time when he was supposed to pick his child up at school and a neighbor took him home because noone else was around to. Yeah, that was my day yesterday. I would have gladly eaten that donut plus another two. Mmmm, chocolate makes everything better. : )

I have to say that stepping on the corner of a star earring is much more fun than stepping on a hornet.

Other than that, you've certainly had a day!

One thing your mom forgot to tell you about the donut: Chocolate in any form while eaten during the time of PMS takes on negative properties. As in... negative calories, negative fat grams, negative sugars... I'm surprised that you didn't know that! You know, being a nurse and all. ;-)

I am really glad to know that I am not the only one that has days like that! Lately it seems like they come in pairs! Thanks for making me laugh. It was much needed. Miss ya!
